KidAR: Let your kids be free while keeping your mind at ease

An HCI/UX research, design, and prototyping project for a novel application intended to give parents more peace of mind around keeping track of their children, especially in difficult environments.  The project was completed among a team of five UX professionals working on their Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction and Design at UC Irvine.

My role in the project focused on user research interviews, ethnography, prototyping, and UX evaluation while other team members completed the visual and interaction design.

A full write-up for this project and associated project demo video showcasing the product’s interaction design can be found on Medium.
